Leaders don’t get to choose when disruption shows up — only how they show up when it does.

I see so many leaders struggling with this right now – especially the rapid-fire pace of the turmoil.

While the change upsets you and your organization, you need to bring as much calm and focus to your team, board, donors, and communities as possible. A tall order.

Always, and especially facing constant change, a leader’s job is to simplify an issue for those that turn to them. Of course, in the face of so many uncertainties, this is taxing, anxiety-provoking, and sometimes feels just impossible.
